While she was friendly and quick to arrange viewings, we often felt like we were doing most of the work — following up for answers, clarifying vague responses, and trying to get basic details about homes we were seriously considering.While we understand that some information came directly from a listing agent, there was little proactive communication. When she said she was looking further into our concerns, we rarely saw evidence of this without us prompting it.
Her website states that first-time buyers will have their home inspection fee covered. When we asked, she said, “oh, it’s still there? It shouldn’t be,” yet the offer is still listed months later, which felt misleading.
She also advised us not to test things during our final walkthrough in case any damage came back on to us, even though it’s our right as buyers, which felt like she prioritized liability over our interests - we did push back on this.
Interestingly, her colleague who covered for her while she was on vacation was thorough, responsive, and supportive — exactly what first-time buyers need. We never felt like a burden with her colleague.
Overall, Lynn may work well for experienced buyers who require less guidance, but for first-time buyers seeking hands-on support, our experience was disappointing and underwhelming. -
